When it comes to eye makeup, I’m always looking for products that will last all day without fading or getting creases/smudges. I use most of these products on a daily basis, and when I want a more dramatic look, I amp up the shadow, switch to the waterproof liner, and throw on those gorgeous fake eyelashes (i’m seriously obsessed). I used all of these products on my wedding day and they did not budge-even through the freezing cold December weather and all of my weepy happy tears!

Eye shadow:
So I tend to jump around on as far as brands go… I have used this Revlon one (palette name is Siren) and some random CoverGirl ones (in my opinion the CoverGirl ones I’ve tried don’t have as good pigmentation/last as long). However, my daily go-to is Urban Decay’s Naked palette. To this budget beauty girl, $54 is an insane amount to spend, but I snagged the smokey palette at flash sale at Ulta for 50% off and honestly, I’ve had it almost a year and it hasn’t even come close to running out (even on my favorite shades). The pigmentation and quality is so so good. I’m afraid I’ll never want to go back to drugstore brands for eye shadow now.
Eyeliner:
for extra drama and tears proof- I use this Maybelline liquid eyeliner. Applying liquid eyeliner isn’t for the faint of heart and this one is no different. You need a steady hand. On my wedding day, I did my own makeup at like 5am and my nerves didn’t help my hands to be steady at all… but I eventually got it to look decent that day! It’s got a slightly glossy appearance giving it a nice dramatic pop, and it.will.not.budge!
For daily wear- I like a slight cat eye and I love to use this Revlon colorstay one to accomplish that look. It’s so easy to apply and lasts quite a while! It’s definitely not waterproof though, so keep that in mind. I like the Covergirl perfect point plus for my under eye.
Mascara primer:
This Loreal mascara primer is a game changer! It doesn’t make your mascara seem overly clumpy, just adds length, fullness and keeps my mascara from fading throughout the day. Added bonus is the chic white and gold packaging.
Mascara:
I’ve been using this Maybelline mascara for years. I will try something new every once in a while, but I always wind up disappointed and back at the store picking this back up.
Eyebrows
My latest favorite is this NYX Powder Pencil in Espresso. I’m still experimenting in the drugstore brow makeup field, so if you have a favorite, let me know!
False Lashes
And finally… my holy grail false eyelashes. I’ve heard that they are a perfect dupe for MAC lashes. I prefer these to the Ardell lashes (a popular drugstore brand) because they are much more lightweight and the band is super thin and comfortable to wear. I have them in the WSP and I’ve been wanting to try some other types!
Have a lovely weekend! Don’t forget, Sunday is Father’s day, so print off this sweet card for him!
